I’m a former critical care nurse turned full-time health/wellness blogger. I loved caring for sick patients, but I’ve come to realize that my real passions are fitness and health.
Outside of working out, I’m a mom to two young kiddos, which is one of the main reasons I started this blog. It’s allowed me more flexibility and quality time with them for which I am so thankful.
I truly believe that everyone can maintain a healthy lifestyle, even in the midst of busy seasons as moms and dads and/or working professionals. I genuinely hope that this blog helps you even just a little bit on your journey to being the healthiest version of you!
Get to know me
These are a few of my favorite things…
- Running! I’ve been running for 15+ years, including cross-country and track in college, 4 full marathons, and too many half marathons to count.
- Yoga. I used to be a skeptic but got hooked a few years ago. I love it so much that I’m training to be a yoga instructor!
- Coffee of the iced variety. It’s never too cold outside for an iced coffee in my opinion.
- The mountains. I would do just about anything to convince my husband to let us move to Colorado!
